Appearance: White or almost white, crystalline powder or silky, white or almost white crystals

Identification: Positive reaction

Solubility: Insoluble in water, soluble in boiling water, slightly soluble in ethanol (96%). Soluble iin basic benzoate or salicylate concentrate. Easy to sublimate.
